EcoBalance is an open-cell melamine resin foam with a density of approximately 9 kg/m³, making it exceptionally lightweight and easy to handle. Its light grey colour enhances resistance to soiling, making it ideal for high-traffic areas and industrial applications. The foam offers outstanding sound absorption, particularly in medium and high-frequency ranges, and complies with rigorous fire safety standards such as DIN 4102 B1 and UL 94 V-0. Produced without halogenated hydrocarbons, EcoBalance is environmentally friendly, meeting OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certification for human-ecological safety and the European RoHS Directive for hazardous substance restrictions.
All Echo products are crafted using EcoBalance as the standard material. However, for specific project requirements, they can also be manufactured using Basotect® UF+ or Basotect® B. Basotect® UF+ offers enhanced elasticity for more complex designs, while Basotect® B features a pure white colour, providing high light reflectance for decorative acoustic applications.
By choosing Echo products, you invest in high-performance acoustic solutions that combine lightweight practicality, design flexibility, and environmental sustainability, ensuring compliance with stringent safety and eco standards.
